Local massage therapist uses holistic approach to treat patients

With a longstanding career in massage therapy and an interest in providing different therapies to her clients, Amy Brite is well-versed in many forms of massage therapy. Brite, owner of Cape Fear Massage Wellness, hopes to share her expertise with the Wilmington community.
Hailing from the Outer Banks and Elizabeth City area, Brite is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist who worked for some of the first massage therapists in the Raleigh area back in the early 1990s. During that time, she learned techniques such as Reiki (a hands-on Japanese healing technique that includes light, non-invasive touch) and Swedish massage (which consists of relaxing the entire body, and is the most common type of bodywork).
